Real Madrid have published a medical report on defender Eder Militao, who underwent surgery to repair the hamstring injury he suffered against Alavés.
Our player Éder Militão has successfully undergone surgery today for the rupture of the proximal tendon of the biceps femoris in his left leg. The operation was performed by Dr. Lasse Lempainen under the supervision of Real Madrid’s Medical Services. Militão will begin his recovery work in the coming days.

Militao will be out around five weeks rehabbing from this surgery, so he will miss the upcoming FIFA World Cup. He should be ready to make his return for at least the bigger part of Real Madrid’s pre-season, which hasn’t been scheduled just yet.
